Once more, international livelooping artists gather in Berlin for
3 exciting cross-genre evenings.
This time, we expand the boundaries even more and include
performance, dance and visual art.
…but what is this livelooping anyway?
It is a technique by means of (mostly) digital machines which allow a performer to record a musical phrase and play it back immediately and theoretically indefinitely. Further, they allow to record layers of music on top of the original phrase.

The 5. Berlin International Livelooping Festival is part of the
Y2KXX EUROPE ZONE LOOP FESTIVAL 20th BIRTHDAY TOUR
with events in Paris, Brittany, Cologne, Berlin, Dresden, Prague and Zagreb.
It is also part of the Y2Kx series of International Livelooping Festivals which have taken place in 90 cities and 24 countries so far.
